Garbonzo zone has finally opened and will be open this weekend but close again on Monday until the following weekend , at which point it should be open every day .. this opens up a number of great trails and options for downhill biking ...posted by Whistler Mountain House # 11:17 PM 0 Comments

Summer Season has kicked off ..
Lower Bike park has now been open for some time and all trails are open and extended play is in effect .. Just waiting for more snow to melt in order to open the Garbonzo area ..
( upper area of the Bike Park ).. All Whistler golf courses are open .Other activities such as white water rafting and kyaking on the Alta Lake are also up and running . There is still boarding and skiing on the Glacier . Peak to Peak Gondola is now open every day ..

Spring skiing, boarding and Bike Park news
Whistler has the number one ranked bike park in the world, and you can ride from the Bike Park to the front door of Whistler Mountain House without the need to pedal! It is a 4 min. ride back downhill to the base of the lifts to go back up with your mountain bike. There is also a very extensive cross country mountain bike trail network to keep all levels of riders entertained and challenged. Whistler Mountain House has bike storage and wash down areas as well as work stands for any form of repairs or maintenance.Spring skiing and boarding rates effective from mid April 2009 .
